Eastrington Primary School - "Enrich Enjoy Excel"

Welcome to the Remote Learning Page

Eastrington Primary School Remote Learning

In September 2020, all our classes returned to full-time education following the Covid-19 closure in March. Although we hoped that the majority of our children would have an uninterrupted experience, in January 2021 the school moved to remote learning in accordance with the national lockdown. We have therefore put in place a plan for remote learning so that all children can continue with their education.

Eastrington Primary School Remote Learning Policy
These documents outline how we will operate if a local or national lockdown is implemented and our school needs to closed to all but the children of critical workers and vulnerable children.
Our Remote Education Provision Plans provide clarity for our parents about how we will continue teaching and learning remotely.

Wellbeing
Whilst our pupils are working remotely, we recognise the importance of supporting all pupils’ mental health and wellbeing. We act upon this by:
– Twice weekly check in via Microsoft Teams.
– Telephone calls home to specific families.
– Continuation of on-going ELSA provision
– Communication between teachers and parents via the telephone and their class email address
